Why join USI?

Joining the US Imaging network is an easy way to increase the number of patients seen at your facility. Our analysis shows that approximately 60% of members are receiving non-emergent radiology services in the outpatient hospital setting. US Imaging is able to direct these cases out of the costly hospital setting and into a USI free standing imaging facility. Through our appointment scheduling service, US Imaging can provide additional volume directly to your facility without additional cost. US Imaging does not use utilization review to reduce costs by denying care to members.

Administrative Ease

At US Imaging we understand the challenges faced by radiology facilities. Our goal is to decrease the burden you face each day, and we do this in many ways:

• We provide all member and referring provider demographic information as well as ordering test details when the appointment is scheduled to avoid delays at the time of the appointment.
• We contact the member the day before to remind them of their appointment and the need to bring their ID card and a copy of the prescription to the facility.
• We provide directions to the facility.

Increased Revenue

The "no-show" rate for appointments scheduled by US Imaging is under 3%. This is significantly lower than the industry average of 15% which means fewer lost opportunities for imaging and revenue at your facility.

Claims Payment

US Imaging works diligently to pay your claims in a timely fashion. Claims are processed on a daily basis and checks are cut weekly. We encourage you to submit all claims to US Imaging within 5 days of the exam. All claims should be mailed to:
